Canine Ambassador is the new pioneering dog and puppy training programme which aims to take dog guardianship in the UK to a new level.  Promoting responsible dog guardianship, with dogs who are happy, well balanced, comfortable in day to day life and the world around them.   Whilst working within the dog industry it was apparent to our trainers there was a gap in the market for a programme which covered guardian education and responsibilities, environmental conditioning, obedience and most importantly, the emotional and physical well-being of the dog.   Enter, the Canine Ambassador programme.   A comprehensive dog and puppy training programme which has been created aiming to develop the dog you can take any place any time, meeting legal requirements and public expectations in terms of the control that a handler has over their dog’s behaviour.   The programme by Canine Ambassador is unlike any other, and designed to be fun for both dog and guardian, with sessions held in a variety of accessible, central locations.

Our animal rescue and rehoming centre in Glasgow found forever homes for almost 1,000 animals in 2018. Previously Cardonald Dog & Cat Home, the centre has served the city of Glasgow for decades and has the capability to offer refuge to an array of animals. It has: Over 100 kennels for dogs A cattery for cats and kittens 12 spaces for ferrets An exotics room Indoor and outdoor runs for 10 rabbits A room which can accommodate a variety of birds A pioneering sensory garden to provide a safe haven and stimulation for dogs A wildlife shed to hold wild animals in need of treatment until they can be transported to the National Wildlife Rescue Centre.

At Venture, we love to get the family pets involved in our family photoshoots, as well as creating beautiful pet portraits of the animals themselves during the shoot. Most commonly we are asked to create cat portraits and dog portraits, but we have photographed a wide variety of pets, from small animals such as tortoises, right the way up to horses! Our professional and highly experienced photographers will work with you to take a selection of photos that really bring out the personality of your pet, but you may also like to bring along a couple of props such as a favourite toy or their bed. Also don’t forget to pack the treats to help coax them into playing along. Some customers can be concerned that the bright studio lights and flashes will worry their pet but the animals do get used to it quickly and most aren’t bothered at all – sometimes we find they are more relaxed than their owners!
